Still Open Free business simulator game with real data
Free small business simulator in your browser: open a shop, try to last 5 years and compare with the real survival rate for your sector and country. No sign-up.
How it works
Every month the game runs the numbers of a real business: sales, stock, wages with payroll taxes, rent, your pay, marketing, taxes, interest and loan payments. You decide, and surprises happen.
The chance of closing comes from official survival statistics for the sector and country. The game is tuned so that an average owner with the example numbers closes at the same pace as in real life. Your choices move you above or below that average.
The 99 universes you didn’t play repeat your way of playing (your focus and your answers to surprises), each with different luck.
What the game estimates
- The cost structure of each sector and the example numbers.
- How strong each choice is.
- How often surprises happen and what they cost.
- Competition nearby. With Surprise the game draws low, normal or high; where OpenStreetMap counted businesses in the city, the draw leans toward what the map shows. The count is incomplete and varies by city.
No account or email needed. The leaderboard keeps only the business name, the city, the result and the door message.
It’s a game, not advice or a forecast. It shows what usually happens to similar businesses.
